What is Hytale?
Hytale is a voxel-based sandbox RPG developed by Hypixel Studios. It features adventure mode with zones, dungeons, bosses, crafting, and extensive building/modding tools.
Is Hytale free to play?
No. Hytale is a premium game available for purchase on PC. A one-time purchase grants access to all future updates and multiplayer servers.
What platforms is Hytale available on?
Currently, Hytale is available on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Console ports (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch) are planned for post-launch.
Gameplay Questions
Can I play Hytale offline?
Yes. Singleplayer mode is fully offline. However, multiplayer servers require an internet connection.
Is there cross-platform multiplayer?
Yes. All PC versions (Windows, Mac, Linux) can play together on the same servers.
How do I join my friend's world?
Your friend can use "Open to Friends" in the pause menu. You'll then see their world in your Friends List and can join directly.

- Lower render distance in settings.
- Disable fancy graphics and particles.
